The University of New Hampshire (UNH) campus in Durham is home to dozens of diverse, historic tree species, including several state champion trees like a 37-foot Kentucky coffee tree, a 76-foot overcup oak near Thompson Hall,<\/strong>\u00a0a famous Ginkgo tree at James Hall, and a chestnut research orchard at Kingman Farm.<\/p>\n

UNH Extension forester and arborist, Lindsay Watkins, and Chadd Hippensteel from UNH Grounds will lead this tour of favorite campus trees with a focus on the stresses and threats to the campus tree canopy.<\/p>\n

Landscape After Hours (LAH) are free events that provide opportunities for landscape professionals to get together in a casual atmosphere while getting out and seeing interesting and innovative projects, sites, and services in NH\u2019s green industry. Join us for a Thursday evening of inspiration, learning, and networking each month, May \u2013 October, 5:30 \u2013 7pm.<\/p>\n

There is no fee to attend LAH, but we do ask that you RSVP so we know how many people to expect and so we can contact you if we need to cancel due to weather.<\/p>\n
