The New Hampshire Landscape Association Certification Committee is pleased to announce the achievements of five new NH Certified Landscape Professionals.<\/p>\n
All NHCLPs must pass the written and plant ID portions of the NHCLP exam and earn five credits annually in landscape and industry leadership programming. The written exam is offered in March and September each year, and the Plant ID portion in September only. \nJessica Buccella #187 \u2014 Jessica has been in landscaping for seven years. She is a senior crew leader at Carroll County Landscape in Wolfeboro. Jessica specializes in garden services, annual installation, and design. In her free time she enjoys paddle boarding and hiking.<\/p>\n
Julie Campbell #188 \u2014 Julie Campbell has her MLA from the Rhode Island School of Design. She has been in landscape for 26 years. She is currently in project management and account management at Belknap Landscape Company in Gilford.<\/p>\n
Trentin Huffman #189 \u2014 Trent has worked in the landscape industry for three years. Trent\u2019s current focus is in landscape enhancements and projects at Carroll County Landscape in Wolfeboro. He has earned his Certified Landscape Management Technician through NALPs two-year apprenticeship program. With attention to quality on every job, Trent strives to work effectively and cohesively to build beautiful thriving landscapes and happy customers.<\/p>\n
Kate Sheetz # 190 \u2014 Kate discovered her interest in horticulture in 2007,growing ornamental and sometimes edible \u201cfoster\u201d plants, rejected by a nursery and provided to her by a supportive friend. She lives in Ellsworth, NH, and has enjoyed working in the Lakes region of NH, maintaining and installing ornamental landscapes for the past two seasons with a crew of experienced and delightful gardeners. Her experience and interests include exploring forests and marshes on the east coast, using native woodland herbs in the landscape, organic farming, ornamental landscaping, and growing her grandfather\u2019s fig trees (indoors) from Italy. She feels thankful to her family, community, and teachers for their support in the completion of the North Shore Community College applied science in horticulture program and the NHLCP courses and examinations.<\/p>\n
Andrew Langlois #191\u2014 Andrew started landscaping while in high school just over 20 years ago. He decided to pursue an education in the field and graduated with an Associate Degree in landscape contracting from the Stockbridge School of Agriculture and a Bachelor of Environmental Design from UMass Amherst. He has worked in many fields of the industry including, property maintenance, irrigation service & installation, landscape construction, landscape design, sales, snow\/ice service, and general management. He currently works for Andover Landscape based in Andover, MA, constructing design-build projects in the surrounding area.<\/p>\n
